Saiyuki Reload BLAST E11-12 (9/10) → Slightly disappointed with how Goku acted in E13 once the situation escalated; spoilery? )

I defended the anime's portrayal of him in E02 but I'm siding with the disappointed peeps on this one.

Some other spoilery stuff. )

I can't believe that the episode this week is gonna be the last. Part of me still has trouble believing that we even got a BLAST anime in the first place, and now it's already ending :( I have no idea how the finale's going to go or if we're even going to have a S02 somewhere down the line.

Rina has summarized volume 33 in detail! It is a doozy, including two rather famous scenes poignant enough to have been translated before. But now we can get the whole story in sequence. Thank you, Rina!

Saiyuki Reload BLAST E10 (9/10) → I found the equivalent manga chapters for this episode confusing so I was pleasantly surprised when the episode wasn't. I'm chalking that discrepancy up to official translation vs. fan translation. Spoilers. )

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable - Chapter 1 (8/10) → I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that a local mall chain had decided to pick up the movie and screen it. Much yelling with friends ensued and plans were quickly made. Spoilers. )

Overall, a strong movie with good casting despite the pacing feeling a bit off. I like that Jotaro looks older than he does in the manga (I will forever wonder why they didn't just make Jotaro Josuke's dad and Josuke be Jolyne's dad) but that's probably just me being biased towards more hot oyaji.

Random note: Why was everyone ridiculously attractive in this movie? Angelo's supposed to be an ugly fucker, not some dude who looks like he just needs a warm bath to look hot again. I couldn't handle it when they'd zoom in on Keiicho's face augh ;_; too pretty.

Saiyuki chapter has finally been published!
Yeah, the situation is pretty the same of the former one but it has been published!
And everytime I see Minekura-sensei's drawings I can't help to think she is a genius.

Unfortunately even if the chapter was out, Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST vol.3 has been postponed again...
I hope for another chapter at the end of September. I think we need less of 20 pages to complete vol.3.

The first DVD of BLAST anime has been released:

This illustration is...WOW! *____*

In the meantime Saiyuki BLAST anime is arrived at episode 10.
In my opinion episodes about BLAST were the best. Even if I still think that it was early for a BLAST anime, it's cool watching the story animated.
But I didn't like the little filler in which they added Zakuro character in the episode 9.
What do you think about the anime so far?
Here some other gadgets for merchandise:

And...On 21st September will be Hakkai's birthday. For the occasion a shop has created these sweets:

Saiyuki Reload BLAST E06-08 (8/10)
Saiyuki Reload BLAST E09 (10/10)

E06 definitely felt rushed but I still ended up all teary by the end ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Dunno how effective the feels train would be for someone who hasn't read the manga/watched previous incarnations, though. Spoilers. )

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (4/5) → A teeny bit more mature than what I expected but I find that I liked it more than I thought I would. I have some questions about the logistics of some things (How do Miss Peregrine et al. receive Abe's letters???) but they're minor enough that they don't detract from my overall experience.

Spoilers? )
